Centreville Cemetery - Like many early cemeteries, the origin of the Old Slippery Rock Cemetery has been obscured by time. This historic cemetery is located on the grounds of Slippery Rock Park. Since many tombstones are probably missing, the first year of use is not known, but the oldest remaining tombstone dates from 1835.
 
Today this cemetery remains as a memorial to the hardy individuals who settled this part of Western Pennsylvania.
