Slippery Rock Area Parks & Recreation’s mission is to provide leisure opportunities for all residents of the Slippery Rock Area School District. This responsibility includes the administration and implementation of school district programs, aquatic programs, cultural programs, preschool programs and special events.
 
Slippery Rock Area Parks & Recreation Programs are sponsored cooperatively by the Slippery Rock Borough, Slippery Rock Area School District and Slippery Rock Township to promote and support healthy, active lifestyles in the community.
